Hostel of the Displaced

This is a pre-made playset for the endlessly clever Jukebox: The Karaoke Musical Tabletop Roleplaying Game, made by Jar of Eyes, which you can find on their itch.io page.

The world is cruel, and sometimes so are we. Despite this, we’ve banded together to found the Hostel of the Displaced, a home for those of whom society judged are not deserving of one. We are willing to do the things others are not to stay safe and keep a roof over our heads, but recent attention has led outsiders to push for our removal.

Inspired by the discography of the John Darnielle led project, the Mountain Goats, Hostel of the Displaced is the story of a persevering underclass and community fighting to maintain its right to existence and safety while fighting their own demons, and possibly each other. Explore the very human experience of finding joy and connection both in spite of, and because of, the darkness within all of us.
